Our units carry a refrigerant gas which is connected by a pipe and carried by indoor and outdoor coils. Indoor air is pulled over the internal coil and then the heat and air is absorbed by the refrigerant gas and transported to the outdoor coil. The warm air is then blown outside, whilst the cool air is blown indoors to cool down the space.
Refrigerated air conditioningalso dehumidifies; when air passes over the cold internal coil, moisture from the warm indoor air condenses and is drained away – leaving your home moisture free. Most units also contain a filter.
As such, a refrigerated air conditioning unit takes air from your home then cools, dehumidifies and filters it before feeding it back through ducts around your home. These ducts can also be used to provide gas or electric ducted heating in winter. A reverse cycle ducted heating and chilling system can provide very efficient climate control for your home.
